The Wailea Elua is a terrific, oceanfront property for travelers who desire a quieter ambiance for their vacation in Maui. I have stayed at the Wailea Elua in the past and visited this property numerous times. The Wailea Elua is a well-manicured condominium complex that is fairly large with nice walkways throughout the property. Once you check-in at the off-site location at the nearby Shops at Wailea, you are only 5 minutes away from the gated complex at Wailea Elua. The amenities at the Wailea Elua include 2 pools, jacuzzi, beach pavilion, paddle tennis, putting green, 2 nearby golf courses and the Wailea Tennis Club (fee). All of the wonderful and fully furnished units have a full kitchen, microwave, cable TV's, VCR or DVD player, stereo with CD player, BBQ on the patio, high-speed internet access, washer/dryer, central air conditioning, ceiling fans, beach chairs, coolers and beach towels (you can leave your own beach towels at home). My favorite amenity is that each unit has its' own BBQ, so you don't have to wait for a BBQ on property to cook your dinner while watching the beautiful Maui sunset.
Wailea Elua is located about 30 minutes from the Kahului Airport. There is a sandy, swimming beach on property along with excellent snorkeling at Ulua Beach which is also right there. If restaurants and shopping is your thing, the newly renovated Shops at Wailea is within walking distance of the Wailea Elua offering many shops and different types of restaurants. A grocery store is a just a 10 minute drive away and a Costco is located right outside of the Kahului Airport.
Wailea is well-known for its' excellent golf courses. Tennis enthusiasts will also love playing tennis in Wailea. Wailea offers a quieter Hawaiian ambiance and incredible warm weather throughout the year. Couples, honeymooners, families or seniors will truly enjoy the atmosphere that only Wailea, Maui can offer.
I would highly recommend the Wailea Elua the next time you wish to visit Maui. If you have never stayed in Wailea before and want the utmost in luxury and relaxation, then Wailea just might very well be for you.
